An appeal for help has been issued after an unwell pigeon was discovered in an alleyway near Clawdd Du.
A member of the public found the bird on Saturday afternoon and moved it to a safer location behind the Boar’s Head, where it would be away from passing traffic and other potential dangers.
Posting on Facebook: “Pigeon not well found on Clawdd Du alleyway. Have put him at the back of the Boar’s Head where it’s safe. Anyone that can take him away please let me know.”
It is hoped that a local wildlife rescue volunteer or someone experienced in caring for sick and injured birds will be able to collect the pigeon and provide the help it needs.
