Shrewsbury Severn Rotary Club has launched an appeal for new members who are keen to support local people and get more involved in the community.
The club describes itself as a high-energy group of men and women who work together to provide help and hope to people across Shrewsbury and the surrounding area.
Members are involved in community-focused activities, fundraising and projects designed to support good causes, while also creating opportunities to meet new people and enjoy social events.
A club spokesperson said:
“We are actively seeking new members who are looking to make a difference in the Shrewsbury community.
We are a high-energy group of males and females who create an environment which brings hope and help to many people within our wonderful town and surrounding areas, all while having fun.”
The club says joining Rotary can offer people the chance to support others, develop new friendships and become more closely involved in local life.
